Port of Nigg

An ideal site for large-scale manufacturing, marshalling, fabrication, integration, assembly and maintenance operations.

The UK’s leading marshalling port for offshore wind with a proven record of managing over 3.5GW of assets, including three of Scotland’s largest offshore wind farms.

Proposals are being explored to establish a green hydrogen hub to decarbonise daily operations and energy-intensive processes, including an offshore wind component manufacturing facility.

  • Unrivalled dry dock capability
Largest of its kind in Europe.
  • In-house services and facilities
Including on-site accommodation and client project offices.
  • Mobile and crawler cranes and SPMTs
Nearby Pitcalzean Farm will be a key location for further development – Associated British Ports plans to explore its potential as an offshore wind infrastructure hub, supporting both fixed-bottom and floating offshore wind projects.
