Port of Inverness
An ideal site for quayside office and workshop activity, specialist maritime engineering or manufacture and blade repair and recycling.
As the marine transport hub for the region, the port has handled over 350 onshore turbines in the past decade alongside shipping line services for fuel and timber linking it to the Continent and English ports.
A number of heavy lifts have also been undertaken of mainly large-scale electricity transformers supporting upgrades to the grid.
Plans are underway to expand the port’s working area by 8 hectares and add a new 150m quayside, enhancing the ability to handle special cargos and accommodate manufacturing and specialist supply chain activity as well as giving space for the construction of offices and workshops.
