Supporting fair pay through our Fair Work Charter
The Inverness and Cromarty Firth Green Freeport is committed to ensuring that investment delivers lasting benefits for people as well as businesses.
As part of our Fair Work Charter, we encourage employers across our tax sites and wider Green Freeport community to pay, or work towards paying, the Real Living Wage.
Following the announcement of the new Real Living Wage rate of £14.10 per hour, employers are expected to implement the new rate by 1 May 2027.
By supporting fair pay, workforce development and high-quality employment, we can help ensure that Green Freeport investment creates sustainable opportunities and shared prosperity across the Highlands.
